Quality Improvement

Through our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) systems, the Department of Institutional Research and Quality Improvement strives to meet the following five goals:

  1. Ensure all Hull House programs are providing services in accordance with agency standards, governmental (state and federal) guidelines, and accrediting bodies, such as COA, NAEYC and CAC.
  2. Provide mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating service outcomes in an objective and systematic manner for all Hull House programs.
  3. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the CQI system on an ongoing basis.
  4. Provide high level research and data to support program development and a public policy and advocacy agenda.
  5. Maintain a culture of quality by training and educating staff regarding the value of data and completing impact studies that are research-based.

Support Team
The Department of Institutional Research and Quality Improvement utilizes the input and support of the CQI Committee to achieve the departmental goals. The multidisciplinary CQI Committee meets bi-monthly and is representative of all Hull House programs, departments and diverse areas of service.
