Jazz for Jane
Ravinia Concert
This year's Jazz for Jane "It's All about the Kids" event, held on June 21, raised close to $72,000 and was another record-breaking year for the Association's annual celebration held at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park.
The private dining tent was filled with over 170 guests, all helping to raise funds to help support children’s programming at Hull House. The music themed table centerpieces were all created by children from programs at Jane’s Place at Nettlehorst School and Sumner Academy. Photographs taken by students at Hearst Elementary School were also displayed throughout the tent.
The evening was a success with guests enjoying cocktails and a gourmet buffet as well as a silent auction that featured fine wines and gift certificates such as a cooking party at Bespoke Cuisine. After dinner, guests set off to the Ravinia pavilion for the featured jazz performance of the Ramsey Lewis Trio with the Turtle Island Quartet and Dave Brubeck Quartet with the Ravinia Jazz Festival Band.
