Bosch & Hull House
The Charity Classic, benefiting Jane Addams Hull House Association, was held at the Mistwood Golf Club on Thursday, August 7. Bosch raised over $3,200 with just under 50 golfers participating. The outing included an 18-hole round of golf with Skill Contests, a goody bag, lunch, an appetizer dinner with a two-hour open bar.

The winning foursome-John Robertson, Kurtis Luedtke, Mary Drag and Scott Luedtke-came in 10 strokes under par.
Bosch employees had the opportunity to compete in four contests which were spread throughout the golf course. Chris Hill won the "closest to the pin" competition, Mike Jaskae won the "closest to the lake" competition, Scott Luedtke won the "longest retro drive" competition and Kurtis Luedtke won the "longest drive" competition. The Skill Contest winners had their selection of prizes such as: PowerBox, MaxFli driver, Skil Circular saw, Bosch Drill and a Velocity 2Go. Congratulations to all the winners!

Bosch's Bowling Benefit with Hull House, held on May 8, was a huge success raising $1,100. Over 30 guests attended the Benefit sponsored by the 2008 Bosch Fundraising Committee and enjoyed food, drinks, a raffle and of course bowling!

Bosch's inaugural event was a Charity Breakfast held on February 27 at Bosch Headquarters with over 85 employees attending. Along with Bosch volunteers, Hull House associates helped serve up pancakes and eggs and answered questions about programs and volunteer opportunities. Among other Hull House service representatives, Monique Campbell spoke with diners about Child Development Services and Drennon Jones and Nina Winn spoke about the Independent Living program. Bosch has additional fundraising initiatives planned over the course of the year such as Jeans Day, Rent An Executive Parking Space, Happy Hour, Golf Outing, Silent Auction event and Holiday Dinner.
In addition, Bosch employees have a number of volunteer activities and opportunities available to meet his/her interests.
